I am overall pleased with this hose reel but after purchasing and using it I should’ve went with the 5/8ths hose over the 1/2”. The 1:2”” hose just doesn’t allow enough water pressure like a 5/8”. Otherwise it is a good product and seems to be well made so far.

It works great , reel has a strong spring .It reaches all over my garden area I like that it has a metal mounting bracket . Now the key is to see how it will hold up to the hot southern sun.

Easy to install, came just about assembled... the hardest part was digging the hole for the post as I didn't want to attach it to the house!

hi i had ordered 2 retractable hose reels a 65 ft. and i believe a 84 ft. the 84 ft. came with a 4 hole metal brace which attaches to where ever you decide and the 65 ft. came with a four hole plastic brace my question is can i buy the four hole metal brace for my 65 ft. hose reel in order to be more sturdy. thanks paul

So much better than the manual hose reel we had. Easy to install. Easy to use. It takes a few times to figure out the length adjustment. We’ll go to pull out more and it just wants to reel it back in. Happy with the purchase so far!

I like everything about this product. I have two of them. It makes it a lot easier to water everything.

It’s been a few weeks now and my wife really likes this. It’s easy to use and convenient. It’s very long and retracts easily. It does retract fast so keep a hand on the hose while the hose is spooling up to slow it down a bit. My wife says the pressure is a little low compared to our last hose but is fine for her needs. We hooked it up to the pressure washer and it feed that fine. The spray nozzle is good and we can always swap that with a different one if needed as it has a standard hose end on it. One note: make sure you shut the water off and de-pressurize the hose before winding it back up. It’s too heavy if the hose is full of water for the retractor to pull it in all the way.

This is my first retractable and I got two of them. I attached them to 4x4 posts. The water seems lower pressure than a straight hose, but still not bad. The nozzle connection leaks (drips) even with tightening, so I added extra teflon wrap on it. Pulling it out and retracting works nicely and there have been no problems so far with any of the connections or hose. Looks good. Lost one star because the instructions were not too clear, especially about the securing pin.
