Used these all summer across a rough asphalt driveway. Were driven across several times a day, every day, by a full size pickup. Fully protected a garden hose and electric cable. Stayed flat and together. No breakage. Oiled the hinges and packed them away for the winter. Should be able to get several years use out of these.

Used these to protect audio/video footage wire at music venue with heavy traffic. No complaints.

Very good on flat hard surface concrete or 1"1/8" plywood. Loose dirt or gravel would not recommend unless below grade.

Very solid and well designed. They can also sub as a speed bump once secured down. Well worth the money.

Very solid construction. They are heavy, but that comes with the weight capacity I suppose. They so have a strong smell out of the box like many rubber/plastic items do so indoors they might draw attention, outdoors I would think it is a non-issue.
