Over quality good drilled 20 plus holes on horizontal beam no troubles. Easy to set up

Good drill. Used to drill holes in 1/4 inch steel walkway for my dock. Just be sure to anchor the electro magnet and add a tether or strap should the magnet deactivate or get unplugged.

Great. Mag. Drill, my only complaint is the description when I initially bought it. It didn't mention that this model does feature variable speed or reverse.. That would have been a plus, but I can work without it. Good clamping power and plenty of torque in the motor. The cutting/cooling oil tank is a great feature with a valve to control the flow rate. Haven't used the cutter bits yet but they appear to be high quality.

This drill is awesome. I had always wanted a mag drill but never had the funds or the need to buy a big name brand. Then came the opportunity. I got a job to build a large sign support frame for the back of a scoreboard at my son's school. I would need to drill several large holes onsite and in precarious positions. I ordered this drill with coupon for around $275. I opted for the reversing drill for tapping later. It came with everything. Even the exact size annular cutter I needed. I drilled 20 holes, some through 1/2 plate with no problem. Made a $3,000 job easy and now I have a tool paid for that I have already used a few more times on some paying jobs. If it crapped out tomorrow it paid for itself over three times already.

I had always wanted a magnetic drill but felt they were too expensive. This one had good reviews and it came with a set of cutters, all for a good price. I have used it several times and it works great for my needs. A word of caution, the magnet on these has its strongest hold on thick metal and its weakest hold on 1/4 \" or less. So consider the magnetic hold of the drill before you buy depending on the material you will be working with. The annular cutters that came with it are metric, also, if you want to use the included chuck to make a pilot hole for the annular cutter or any hole say 1/2\" or 3/8\" you will need to purchase short drill bits as the drills max height using the chuck is to short for standard bits.

Very good so far. I like the drill and the quick connect bits. The selection of bits is a bit limited. But overall very pleased.

Very happy with this drill. The cooling tank was damaged in shipping but that has nothing to do with the product. This is a faster safer way to drill thicker metals.

Drill works great except using the chuck it will only take a 2” long drill bit, I manufactured a 5” stand to not between the drill motor and the magnet it works great, magnet is very strong, light weight, not like a millwaki mag base drill I recommend this to anyone needing to drill a ton of holes you may want to think about the 2” length drill bit if your handy you can also make a 5” stand.
