I've had landscape lighting in front of my house for 20 years, and I go through these transformers about every 4 or 5 years. They run from dusk to dawn, so that's pretty good life I guess. This one replaced one that had gotten very noisy and would randomly not turn on some nights, or turn on long after it had gotten dark. This one is whisper-quiet and turning off and on like it should. The built-in light sensor seems overly sensitive, if my porch lights are on it won't turn on. I fixed this by using a separate sensor that this transformer plugs into and setting the transformer to "on".

I have purchased a couple of these. They make adjusting the time that garden lights are on/off a snap as the length of days changes and daylight savings time comes and goes. Much nicer than the old clock timer transformers that were a pain to set. These units performed exactly as advertised. What is SPECIAL is that one of the units failed 9 months after purchase but within the one year warranty period. I contacted the support service by email. They were remarkably friendly and responsive and I received a replacement at no charge within a week. Nothing lasts forever, but if you want to be sure you have a good product for at least the length of the warranty, this company can't be beat.

Incredibly easy to use. Just plug it in and it is on the setting for auto on/off. I was a bit worried because the transformer is behind a bush in full shade. I was concerned that because of that it wouldn’t be able to distinguish say from night. However, it has worked perfectly since I plugged it in.

This is a great product. Our handyman but it up after installing a new deck. It serves a great purpose of controlling the light on our deck steps. We are able to choose the setting for turning on the lights...at dusk, 1 hrs, 2hrs from dusk to dawn, etc. Lots of choices. Easy to use. Great material for different weather (we live in an all seasons area). Great product and definitely worth the money!

I now have 3 of these in my yard of various ages & all have performed well. Easy setup & appear to be of good quality with metal housing so they won't fade in the sun like other models I've had that have plastic housings. I highly recommend this model

They send more than 12v , right now 13.37v , works for the landscape lighting .

Used this to convert 120v pool light to 12v LED. Install was very simple and in just a couple of minutes had the unit wired and running the light . Very pleased with purchase. Time will tell about longevity but unit seems very sturdy.

The price and performance of this product is great. I've installed many units with the requested outcome of 12v transformer. This one seems to produce strong 12v. Yes, I used a digital meter that gave me a 12v reading, however the wattage was definitely stronger than many others of different brands. I purchased two, the first one was for Two LED, multi-color pool lights (The Big Ones). They look great. The second was the same 12v, led but smaller niche less lights. They too looked better from the power supplied by this transformer than the sponsored pool transformers. I will use this one until they build something better at a better price.Great product!

Seems very well made, good price. But it is not supplied with ac power cord or instructions to install any of the wiring. No owners/users manual provided. None of the manual websites recognize the model number. Have contacted the manufacturers website in an effort to get this information after hours of searching online. This must be a common issue, manufacturers need to include wiring schematics inside of the cover.

After a long research for a 300w 12v transformer I landed on this. It is well worth for $60. I did not want any fancy things like dawn to dusk or timer because I have a smart switch controlling this Load wise I may have only about 150w which is only 50% of this transformers capacity. Basically this is a transformer for the price of a SMPS.
