Anvil
Really nice anvil, but where you would put attachments for the anvil the square and circle hole were not completely carved out so I will have to take a tool and carve those out.

Good anvil
Works well for a budding knife smith. Helps you move steel. What else could you want from an anvil?

For the money I am satisfied with this anvil . Prichel hole could be on top of the anvil . Took a lot of cleaning from the casting . For the smithing I will be doing the anvil is satisfactory. I have and will recommend this to others that are starting the craft on a budget

For the money this can't be beat. The steel one seems reasonably though and whatnot. I'm adding these words

Decent for the money
This anvil is decent for the money, it has fairly good rebound too. The only thing I don't like about it is the location of the pritchel hole. It's on the horn and below the surface of the face. But if you're looking to get into blacksmithing, you can't go wrong.

This 22# anvil was mailed without any padding in a cardboard box (see photos) that fell apart in transit, and the anvil was scratched in many places. The rust has started taking over where the paint was scratched off.

Um, it works
You can beat on it or drop it on Wile E. Coyote's head.

Good anvil for beginners on a budget
The anvil feels fairly lively! I couldn’t wait to finish a stand for it, so I worked off the shop floor with this little guy and it still produced good rebound and feels very sturdy. I wish there was a Pritchel hole, but I can just make a bolster plate for the Hardy I suppose. My anvil has a little oblonging on two of the sides of the Hardy and the horn is fairly thick at the point. This did make forming a circle around the horn a bit of a challenge, but this isn’t a dealbreaker for me. If you’re interested in starting to smith or just need a little farm/shop anvil I would highly recommend this anvil to you. If you’re a longtime smith and need an easily transported anvil, no doubt about it. If you’re looking for the magical and mythical qualities of an antique anvil, maybe not.
