I did not believe this thing would work but it worked great. I could not find any tie rod kit that had the proper size for my 2011 Nissan Xterra so I figured I had to give this thing a shot. It's nice when a tool works and makes the job easy. Make sure you get the tie rod surface as clean and grease free as possible before trying to use this tool. If you get any grease on the tool grabbing surface it will slip. Use brake clean or similar to clean the inside of the tool if it slips or you suspect you got some grease in there.

Found you can cut bar down to uninstall but to put new longer on you can’t use this tool needs to be longer

I purchase this tie rod tool kit and it works great on my car. I was able able to remove my tie rod fairly comfortable so I would recommend it anytime.

Good little kit, and has most of the common sizes. Only complaint is that the machining tolerance might be off just a half hair on a couple of the pieces. I had to tap one on with a hammer, before I could get the barrel on the fitting. Otherwise I have no issues with it!
