Super quiet pump
Very quiet, you have to touch it to tell it's running. Like any centrifugal pump it's fussy to prime but once it is it can run 24/7 with no problem. Good flow for such a small pump

Does exactly what I wanted it to do -- circulate hot water through the hot-water pipes and back to the water heater to reduce the time it takes to get hot water from the faucet. Quiet and effective.

Needs some sort of timer or smart device to control it.
This thing will run all day if you let it, but I'm not sure if you should let it or not. It heats up very fast, but does what it says. While the water isn't instantly instant hot, it only takes about a second and half for the water to be heated, but maybe that's just because I have it's scheduling set up incorrectly. That being said, there is no way to turn it off and on on its own, it needs some other device to do so. So, for example, I have it hooked up to a smart outlet which turns it on every so often (How often I'm not too sure, I've seen numbers and ideas all over the place, so I just have it on for 30 min every 2 hours and will adjust as time goes on).

Not 3/4 NPT
the pump itself is G3/4 (standard out side US) the brass adapters are G3/4 female to NPTM male. The description is false nothing is 3/4 NPT

3/4" - 1/2" adapter needed.
3/4" - 1/2" adapter needed. Most HWT's have 3/4" nipples. The supplied brass connectors are 1/2" male. If you want the pump to sit on top of the HWT, you will need a 3/4" female to 1/2" male reducer/adapter or come up with some other way to connect to 3/4" rigid. I use a remote controlled outlet (about $10.00) to manually turn off & on. I disliked the built-in timer in the Watts model intensely. This pump costs about 25% of the price of the Watts model sold by Lowes. You still need the cross connection under the lavatory; I reused mine since only the Watts pump failed. Keep in mind, the cold & hot water temp will be about the same, lukewarm. Hot water arrives sooner, cold water arrives later. After getting used to the recirculated HW, we really missed having it when our original Watts failed after only 2.5 years.

Works great.
I have it circulation water through 200' of hose for a solar heating system for my above ground pool. Very quiet and pumps just enough pressure for my need

So far, this meets my expectations for a recirculating pump.
My setup is a bit different than most. I have a long distance between three hot water heater and the kitchen sink. We had a recirculating line installed when we built. This line just allows us to cycle hot water to the kitchen continuously. The pump is turned on automatically twice a day at preset times for two hours. Because this line has no back pressure, the “auto” mode on this is useless. On manual, it is acting like a normal pump (exactly what we wanted). The gph is better than our previous pump, and it is very quiet, so we are quite satisfied, so far.

Quiet and smooth-running...
I have this pump circulating water in my "homemade" hot tub solar heating system which draws water from the tub through a 10' garden hose and then pumps it through two 200' coils of black hose (exposed to the sun, of course) before returning to the tub. It runs on a smart plug schedule for 10 minutes every half-hour from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM daily and is so quiet I actually have to put my hand on the pump to feel the vibrations to confirm that it's running!
