I put one on each side of my front steps. Used 1.5" lag bolts at the top and 3.5" ones at the bottom because the wood is thicker at the bottom. The stanchions will take a lot to break loose. My only concern is the connection between stanchion and rail. It seems to be the weak point.

This stair railing is just what the doctor ordered. I have fallen down a few sets of stairs in my time so this railing makes me feel safe when I take my doggy out to potty. It was easy to install and looks nice. It's simple but does the job very nicely.

Vevor handrail is well made and strong enough to support more than my 185 pound weight. Paint appears to be very durable, stain resistant and is easy to clean. Prior to installation, I discovered that the included Vevor concrete anchors were too long for my application. I installed the handrails on concrete that is only 2 inch thick. The Vevor anchors require about 3 1/2" of concrete for proper installation. I used 1 3/4" Tapcon concrete screw anchors which hold very well. The only thing that I would change on the handrail are, the screws that attach the pivot bracket to the bottom side of the handrail. These screws are made from painted steel. The screws rust quickly and the rust runs down the support post. I replaced the steel screws with M6 × 16mm stainless steel screws. Overall, I am very satisfied with the handrails and I would purchase them again.

We looked everywhere for two handrails that would compliment the curved arches on our front porch and make a statement. When we opened the boxes we were very pleasantly surprised. Not only are they fully assembled and solidly built, but they are extremely stylish. They look custom, as if a designer created them just for us.I installed them myself pretty easily. I bought an inexpensive hammer drill for the job (about the same price as renting one) and watched some YouTube videos to prepare. This was a home run purchase.

We purchased this railing for our backyard steps. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality. The only issue we had was that it was slightly damaged in delivery but we were able to fix it with some white nail polish.

With the correct tools, this product was easy to install. A hammer drill was needed to drill holes in concrete steps, but the task was not difficult. The product design looks great with my house architecture, and the railing has already been a benefit to our family. A friend has already asked if I would be open to installing one for her.
