I haven't actually used these yet as I don't have anything to grease at the moment but they seem well made and heavy duty. The lever mechanism works well. I have little doubt that it will work well when I next need to grease up something.

There is not allot to say about grease gun tips in general. FROM Wikipedia: A grease fitting, grease nipple, Zerk fitting, grease zerk, or Alemite fitting is a metal fitting used in mechanical systems to feed lubricants, usually lubricating grease, into a bearing under moderate to high pressure using a grease gun. This is WELL constructed and SOLID. It comes with all sorts of goodies. I cannot see myself ever needing more than one but I have two. I was impressed how well it stayed on the zerk fitting - I tested it with a 5,000# meter, just something to do. It locked on and stayed on at 5000 PSI. Good enough for my occasional use! I would imagine it would be fine for some of the larger jobs. Not everyone gets to see bearings the size of a Volkswagen get greased. Makes a mess when the fitting comes loose. I do use the needle to inject grease in some parts so this is a plus. It is nice to put it where I need it. I can use this for many different applications where grease would be needed. Having these two grease adapter tips just helps get grease into other joints and things without grease fittings. Like lawn equipment or stuff that stays outside most of the time. Gate hinges? Stuff you want to keep lubricated. This little kit is a time saver. Good deal too.

I love this set and getting 2 of each makes it a great value for the money. The zerk cleaner is new to me and it fits perfectly. I only wished my fittings were a little dirtier so I could have shown how well they scrub. The quick release holds on well and releases easily when you push down on the lever. I just need to get a case now to hold all the parts in.

I added greaseable zerks and can use my manual grease gun with one hand. Does not pop off anymore.

These attachments make the grease gun very easy to use. The lockable head is a bit large and does not fit into tight spaces, but still works great for accessible grease fits.

Fit my husbands grease gun perfectly and he was surprised at how sturdy this one felt. Ones he has used in the past go out quickly and he has been using this one heavily and hasnt had any of the wear problems he has had with them in the past.

Got these to replace the hose and fitting on my grease gun. Very good set...better then what i had on my current grease gun. Swapped out easily and screwed right one. snaps on to fitting very firmly with no seepage on the fittings. hose is pretty thick but still flexible.

I had bought a Quicksliver OEM grease gun with the grease and it was a pain and it leaked grease! I installed this thing on the same grease gun and it really does a great job of locking onto the nipple. Way easier than trying to just hold it on with one hand

I especially liked the ease and simplicity of the release mechanism for the 3-jaw lock. The strain relief is a great idea since the hose at the gun end in my experience is always the vulnerable and weak area of the hose. Accessories: The extension needles work nicely and certainly extend the capability of this gun. The leak-proof grease cap is a plus too as you know how you always have that messy end will always find its way to anything you want to keep clean or even keep dirt away from the grease end. The fitting cleaner is an awesome idea and works well; one quick wipe after using the cleaner and you're ready to administer a non-contaminated grease job. Well-built and heavy duty so I'm sure I'll get many years of use out of it. I would purchase again.

When I ordered this set I did not pay close attention to the description or to the photos. I thought that what I was getting was two heads and two hoses. This was so much more! It came with multiple other attachments for getting into really inaccessible areas that you would never access without these skinny attachments. \"Lifetime Lubricated\" CV-joints have always been a problem for me, sure the grease lasts the lifetime of the joint, because when the grease dribbles out over the years, then the \"Lifetime\" of the joint has just expired. Very clever wording. Now, with the needle tips supplied with this kit, you can inject some grease back into the CV joint and get several more years out of it. I had no idea what the red plastic items were when I opened the box. I had to go back and look at the Amazon page. They are for cleaning around Zerk fittings. Can't wait to try that out!
