The item arrived in a reasonable time, undamaged, along with instructions in both English and French. The instructions seem complete and easy to understand.This is a very heavy duty steel box and well constructed. The instructions indicate that a special knockout punch tool is needed to remove the knockouts. I agree with several other reviewers that unless you happen to have such a tool, then drilling is necessary to complete that task, as they are not true knockouts as you would find in most electrical service panels. The box has a robust cover with a good seal on the inside, and what appears to be an indicator light on the outside. The ground connection is already properly connected internally. The box is not actually water-proof, but certainly adequate for normal outdoor installations.Although I have not yet installed this unit, there is no doubt in my mind that it will perform the task it is intended for. This is a “safer” method to temporarily connect a generator to a service panel than the typical direct connection, or suicide cord. I highly recommend this product and found that the value for the price was excellent.
