I purchased this model because all reviews said it was great for beginners. I am very disappointed that there are minimal assembly instructions and the on line video provided actually has pieces pre-assembled and does not show a step-by-step assembly method. We are struggling through using other artists YouTube videos. Caution to anyone who has never used one of these machines - buy another brand that provides step-by-step instructions and is more understanding of a beginner.

Good starter machine
Only wish it came with an adapter for cutting the gems table. If you can afford a machine with the water attachment get it. If not you can use a squeeze bottle to keep water flowing to keep the gems from cracking.

Works as expected. I have not tried the facet feature, didn't buy for that reason. Discs easy to replace, very smooth operation.

So far seems to be well built
Nice machine. Solidly built and heavy which is nice. I was kind of leery at first it would be thin and cheap. But definitely not the case. This thing is heavy and solid. JLS
