The idea is good and it works to distribute heat But the stainless steel used is of poor quality and gets damaged by heat after only one use.

Nice to feel the heat instead of it all flowing straight up!!

Our firepit put out a lot of heat but only if you stood near and reached over the top. With this device we get heat all the way around to a point my grandkids said we needed to turn the fire down. I was impressed woth the guage of the steel and the ceramic coated legs and handle. All were cool to the touch to put away as needed. This item was twice as expensive on Amazon but ordering direct made it an even beyyer experience.

Pushes heat outward rather than upward from our gas fire pit. Let's me use the gas fire pit inside a vented canopy without fear of overheating the roof. Makes a big difference throwing heat outward rather than upward. Folds down easily and sits almost flush on top of fire pit, fits under the fire pit cover. Easy to assemble, stainless seems high quality and heat resistant.

Redirects heat as intended. Seems solid build quality.

I really love this heat deflector. It really works! To get maximum heating from my gas fit pit I also use a wind guard. The two also look great together. One last HUGE bonus. I removed the handle and use it as a food serving station. It is at the perfect height for all and far enough away from the dogs!!!
