That Pump would not fit down my PVC 4 inch casing. Inside dimensions are… actual size of pipe was 3-7/8Too tight had to go another route.3” pump.So really can’t give a fare rating!

Heads up I received this through the Amazon Vine program.I have an old school classic well. 3 1/2ft diameter 44ft deep that collects the rain water from the roof of my house. Ive wanted to put this water to use but pumping from the top hasnt given me the results i wanted. The answer is to pump from the bottom and so i decided to give this pump a try.It is well packaged and it needs to be as its a heavy unit. It has a 1 1/4inch female thread into which i teflon taped sealed a male fitting and made sure it was 'really tight'. The pump adds a torque to the thread in the 'loosening' direction every time it is turned on (i checked this with quick bursts when it was in my living room), so i was a bit worried that over multiple uses it would work itself loose.I used 1 1/4 inch pipe for the full length of the 30ft power cord and wrestled it into my well. I used a stainless steel coated wire as a safety attached directly to the pump eyelets at the top (see picture).The problem i have is that the cord is only 30 ft. it would be better if it was 50 ft. so rather than reach the bottom of my well, it is suspended by the wire/pipe. This leaves a lot of water in the well when i could be putting around my garden. In fact, the pump only just reached the water and i was only able to test it for about 10 seconds before it was no longer submerged.Its nice that i didnt have to do any wiring and the cord is already attached, but 30ft just isnt enough unless you're at the edge of a lake.The pump did put out a lot of water while it was submerged, and im looking forward to using it some more. I may have to get an extension to the power cord so that I can get at all of the water.

Owning a well means that, every once in a while, you will need to service the well and maybe install a new pump. This pump is a good one. It is powerful, works well, it is made of high-quality materials that won't corrode, and it pumps a lot of water up to the surface where you can make use of it easily. Good pump. 5 stars.

I can’t talk about reliability yet, but I can tell you it is very easy to setup and install. Pump is very well made and seems very durable. It is working great so far. I will update this review after I’ve had it installed for a while with a reliability update.

I’ll admit that when this arrived I had zero idea as to how to install it. Many calls to friends and some professionals later, this is installed and working great! It’s taking care of things like water for my chickens and two ducks and the lawn. I’m really wanting to figure out a way to utilize this as a backup pump for emergency situations and try to figure out a way to run it off some solar panels that I have. This review is for the VEVOR Deep Well Submersible Pump, 0.5HP 115V/60Hz, 28gpm Flow 167ft Head. I ordered the wrong size head so be sure to look for that when ordering. The pump appears to be of good quality and seems heavy duty. It is stainless steel and comes with a 33 foot cord. The value is good for a pump of this quality and the price is comparable to similar pumps.

Thsi sub well pump is as shown, described and promised. No surprises and so far all is great.

I recently ordered the VEVOR Deep Well Submersible Pump and so far, I'm extremely impressed. The construction of the pump seems solid and well put together, and I have high hopes for its performance. The 0.5HP 115V/60Hz motor is powerful and efficient, and the 28gpm flow and 167ft head are more than sufficient for my needs.The 33ft electric cord is a nice feature and the 4" stainless steel pump is very durable. I appreciate that the pump itself is waterproof and has an IP68 rating, as it gives me peace of mind that it will be safe.I haven't had the chance to use the pump yet, but based on my initial impressions, I'm confident that it will be a reliable and efficient way to pump water from my deep well. The solid construction and high quality materials give me confidence that it will last for many years to come. If you're in the market for a new deep well pump, I would definitely give the VEVOR Deep Well Submersible Pump a try.
