No remote
I was surprised at the build of this fan. It is very well made and very sturdy. Assembly simply requires you to put two caps on the two bolts that hold the fan to the frame. These are plastic and press over the bolts. This allows you to tighten or loosen the bolts so you can rotate the fan. Not really a fan of this because I am not sure how long they will last or if one will get knocked off and lost. If that happens, I will just replace the bolts with wing nuts, which in my opinion is what should be there in the first place. The unit arrives with only a 20 percent charge, which is the recommended charge level for a lithium in storage. The level is indicated by 20 percent charge level lights. In other words one at 20, one at 40, etc. Once full charge is reached, the light turn off. Unit can be run while charging. Once fully charged, the fan will run for over 8 hours. Fan is controlled by a rotating switch that has an on/off click and then power from zero to full power. Works well and is smooth to adjust. There is no remote and no option provided for one. This might no seem important unless you have limited mobility and you want to place this on the floor, as it is designed for. Reaching down to adjust it could present some with an issue. This fan also only runs in one direction. So, to vent you would need to rotate the fan 180 degrees to change wind direction. There is a very nice carry handle built into the unit. Instructions are limited. Mostly, what you get are the blow up pictures and a parts list. There is nothing that tells you how to assemble the unit or anything about how to store the battery long term. There is also no comment on where to plug in the charger (round opening on the right hand side of the unit viewed from the back) or the fact that under a rubber plug on the very back of the battery unit, there is a USB port that appears to be there to use as a power source for other devices, like a charge on your phone. All in all, this is a

Great portable fan, remote is frustrating
This is a nice 8 inch portable fan. It has a carrying handle and has 4 speeds with optional oscillation. It unfolds easily and telescopes to over 3 feet and has 200 degree adjustable vertical angles to direct airflow and oscillates 60 degrees left and right, The only complaint is that the remote control has 4 buttons that blend in so well to the unit that it's impossible to see at a glance which button is which function (see video). I took one star off for that. I ended up using a fine tip permanent marker to mark the buttons (see picture). Other than that, it's a great fan!

Compact, powerful, perfect for camping or when power isn't available
Got this the other day and absolutely loving it so far! When I travel, I usually take a portable fan because hotels are just to quiet and the breeze is nice to sleep in. This small but mighty fan fits in my carryon easily and provides great air movement all night. I have not yet tested the battery life, because I leave it plugged in on my night stand. My only complaint, which I'm sure other people will love is that its just too quiet! I need noise to sleep and I kind of miss my rickety old WalMart travel fan just because it was so loud. This will however do great for anyone looking to take a powered fan camping, or even out onto the ball fields in the Spring/Summer.

Powerful Fan for Being Cordless!
I was in need of a cordless fan so that I can move it to places that did not have an outlet. This Vevor fan has been such a great find. It has a pretty good size battery that charges, so you don't have to worry about wasting batteries. For its size, and the fact that it is cordless, it is pretty powerful. You really don't know the difference between it being plugged in or running off of a battery. I have another fan that is a large fan and is a plug-in, and quite frankly, we never turn it up to high-speed because it's just too strong. So these are quite comparable as far as our needs are concerned and I'd recommend this to anyone who needs a portable, but strong, fan.

Love it!
This has been perfect. It blows a lot harder than I expected, which I personally like and as far as the sound it isn’t that loud at all very well-made you can tell it’s strong and sturdy. Definitely durable. Use it from my office perfect.

Solid Fan…Good Air Flow
I ordered this ‘VEVOR Cordless Fan’ to use in my family room when it’s not warm enough to turn on the AC. I have another fan down there already, but it really doesn’t push enough air for the size of the room. I figured this fan would help. I must say, I am very surprised by both the quality and capability of this ‘VEVOR Cordless Fan’. This fan is solid to say the least. I was expecting to receive a cheap plastic fan given that it’s cordless. But this fan, with the exception of the blade, is all metal. It’s heavy to hold and feels very solid. And when it’s placed on the floor, it stays put. It doesn’t ‘creep around’ like the cheap plastic ones do. And I really like the size of the integrated handle. It’s easy to hold and makes the dan very easy to move around. This ‘VEVOR Cordless Fan’ also pleasantly surprised me with the amount of air it pushes even on low speed. It creates a real good breeze. And I like the fact the speed control is ‘infinite’. There are not set speeds on this fan which is really a good feature. It’s almost like a dimmer switch. Another feature I like about this ‘VEVOR Cordless Fan’ is that there are lights on the control box that let you know the power level of the battery. That’s super handy in my opinion. The fan charges pretty quickly. Mine went from 20% charge to full charge in a couple of hours. And I actually let it run all night. It was still running when I got up 8 hours later. That’s pretty good in my opinion for something cordless. There’s only one thing I think this ‘VEVOR Cordless Fan’ is lacking…that’s a remote. It’s a bit inconvenient to have to get up to turn the fan on or off or adjust the speed. A remote would make it a lot easier. But that’s just my opinion. Allin all, I’m very satisfied with this ‘VEVOR Cordless Fan’. It’s very well made…pushes a good deal of air…has infinite speeds…and runs a good amount of time on a charge. It just needs a remote. But I can still recommend it.

Nice fan. Plenty of speed options and the power level light is nice to have. Puts out a decent amount of air
