Great machine, kids love it. Instructions were awful, but the unit is really nice. We ended up buying one for my wife’s mom and dad for Christmas because they were so impressed with it

I bought this model from another retailer, but did read the reviews on Amazon, first, and thought I'd share my comments here. Below are my tips: 1. Just about any liquid with at least 12% (11% also worked) carbohydrate (you can see this on the label of juice containers) will freeze. 2. This model (3LX2) is not designed to freeze alcoholic drinks (it doesn't get cold enough), but you can set the freeze level higher (10 - 12 worked for me) to get the non-alcoholic drink really frozen and then add alcohol to it and mix it up. I poured the non-alcoholic slushy into a glass and then added alcohol, but I'll try adding alcohol to the slushy in the tank when I have guests over. 3. Follow the instructions to use liquids with a minimum sugar content of 12-13% to avoid total freezing which may damage the machine. 4. I pour out any excess liquid or slushy using the spigot when I'm done, tipping the machine a bit to get everyone out. Then I pour fresh water to the line and run the machine on clean mode for a few minutes to clean out the slushy, and repeat, tipping the machine a bit to get the water out the spigot. I also use a clean, wet paper towel to wipe the upper parts of the tank. Then I leave the cover half-way off to let the tank dry out.

Had it for a month, no issues, been GREAT!!! Use one side for the kids, and the other side for the adults.

This machine was easy to set up, directions were easy to follow. It is light enough that even I can carry. Clean up on the machine is just as easy. Highly recommend purchasing one.

we ran this for a whole summer season before pulling it for the winter. love the machine and what it produces, however the main complaints I have are the gaskets not seating tight causing it to constantly slow drip which then gives you an issue of having the drain tube clogged by the syrup in the drink and having to constantly clean the tube which is not easy to get to. if there was a way to use an orange rather than a gasket I think it would seat better. other than that it works great

Every time we use this slushie machine it works flawless. We bought it to use for party's and has worked great every time.

Works great for parties and large family gatherings. Fairly easy to clean and maintain. Be sure to use proper mixes for the frozen settings that have the proper sugar content or Ice will form on the cooling drum and stop the machine. We use ours for holiday gatherings/events, Parties, BBQ's etc.. I buy all my mixes from Margarita Man website and they work great in this machine. They have a great selection of flavors.

This machine works much better than the old one, and the ice seems smoother, and less grainy! The blower on it is a little louder than the old one though!

I love it. I used a few times for a a teen party and adult party and everyone enjoyed their frozen drinks. Had one problem though, one of the sides stopped working during a party. It didn't freeze. I unplugged the machine and restarted it and it worked. Hallelujah.
