Love this vac packer so far, simplest thing to use by far.

Bought this with a little hesitation and put it to use right away. We've went through a box and a half of 8x11 bags and it works like a champ with no failures. If you are new to this and doing this for long term storage, get the 4mil bags. Don't buy anything over 10" wide, doesn't seal properly. Can buy 8x10 or under. The three mil constantly fail on anything with an endge. Get yourself an extra sealing strip which can be found online. Worth every penny.

For the money this is an amazing machine. We use it almost daily. Very happy.

Although I was very hesitant at first I read the reviews and thought to myself do I want to make that gamble which I'm sure most of you are reading these reviews and saying to yourselves. After looking at several machines this was the best value for the money so when I had made the purchase well I gotta tell you I was skeptical at first but then I used it several times and I have loved it. There were only two cons that I could find with this machine. One the outer casing of the machine is made of stainless steel the inner chamber is made of steel I wiped it down only to find a little rust next day so to combat the situation what I did was get rid of the rust that was on the chamber. With a paper towel and some cooking oil and coded the entire inside and that has made it rustproof. What I did was I applied oil wiped off did several times and it's soaked into the metal without giving you a greasy feel. It has performed beautifully. The second con Mason jars although it has a lot of room in the center is not as big as you think.It can only accept small Mason jars or jars that will fit I found the small Mason jars are fine so if you have spices that you would like to seal in you by buy them in bulk then I recommend using Mason jars or simply put them in the bags. Other than those two flaws excellent machine I hope that this helps and puts some of you or on the fence like I get a better perspective.Here is a little hack for the Mason jars if you'd like to reuse them which you can regardless the easiest way is to punch a little hole with a thumbtack use a piece of electrical tape to cover the whole when you want to use them simply peel the electrical tape off and it'll make it much easier to take the lid off.I also like to thank Amazon for making life so much easier and bringing these wonderful products yes I know I sound like a commercial I hope that this helps guys and gals.Thanks Frank
