I have been an amateur beekeeper for 50 years. I can't speak to how long this hive is going to last because I just got it. It's very complete. It took me about 3 hours to assemble it all. The tolerances on all of the joints are very good. It came with all of the parts. I would suggest that they add the nails that are necessary. It seems like good quality wood. I love the wax coating on all of the pieces. Very good price. Good shipping. We'll see how it handles the first colony.

As an experienced bee keeper I THINK THIS IS A BRGAIN AT A GREAT PRICE Everything came as shown. Every one of the 100 pieces of the frames fit without need of any adjustment, and those complaining about nails, no nails required, just use wood glue. As for the windows, I have had other boxes with glass windows that I liked, so I hot melt glued glass on he inside. Otherwise either don't open them or pay more $ for another box without windows. At 44 pounds it shipped free across country in 7 days.

Couldn’t have been happier with the price and quality of this hive. Easy to assemble and the quality of components is like any other hive you’d buy at a local beekeepers supply store. Great deal! My only regret is that I didn’t buy more and now they’re sold out.

Good quality easy assembly. Everything was in packaging as advertised. Will most likely purchase again in near future.

Great overall. Bees love it. Nails not included, so assembly is the only down side. Paint is needed. I would recommend it.
