I bought a new travel trailer and it came with a 25 foot cord for shore power. My 30 amp plug for my previous RV is 40 feet from where I park my trailer. This cord is not an extension cord but a while new cord to replace the 25 ft with 50 ft. No connection half way from my plug to the trailer, I liked that.The cord is heavy duty and the end plugs looked like they are strong and water tight, not sure if they are made to put in water but it has rained several days now with no problems.One the down side, the ring to screw onto the trailer to create a water tight and secure connection does not tighten up. I don't have an issue with that as I plan on using this power cord only when the trailer is at my house.I recommend you try this cord if you need the extra length.

The RV I have came with a 30' 50 amp power cord, and I needed a little more length to reach my outlet. I had purchased a 15' extension cable and had to really stretch the combo to reach. Finally found this 50' cord so decided to give it a try. This cord is perfect for my use, plugs in easy to my trailer with the waterproof threaded locking ring. Would buy again if I ever need another. William Withers

Bought the wire mainly to connect to my 50 amp connection on my generator. Am going to cut off the 3 prong female connector and use 75 amp Mueller alligator clips to hook up directly to the meter pan on my house come next Hurricane or outage.

I had ordered another cord but the picture was inaccurate and it had a plug I couldn't use. This one was right and works perfectly.

Works as intended. Good quality.
