The ramp does exactly what I needed. I would say that either the product is another country that doesn't speak English, or they need to review the instructions provided. Many misspelled words and no explanation why the bolts provided were necessary.
It was a good choice getting these so that I don scrape the front of my car I didn know if these would work because lack of pics. As far as for smell they smell like new tires not bad at all well work the money
If you care at all about your nice car then do it a huge favor and get it a curb ramp. Constantly driving up and down the curb will knock your front end alignment out of whack, not to mention all the unnecessary wear and tear on wheel bearings, axle shafts, etc. So get with the program already.
