Great little boat motor stand for both holding boat motors and working on them! Still great 4 years later!!

The directions could have been a little more clear, however, if you bought this product and could not figure out how to assemble it I hope we are sailing on different bodies of water. It was cake One 1/2 inch and one 9/16 socket and wrench does the job. They did throw you a curve with the one 5/8 nut. Had it together in 45 minutes. Maybe the company should not advertise that it will accomadate anything over 200 pound engine, that's a bit much for this stand. However it will work fine for my 75 pound outboard. As with everything else in life get the right tool for the job.

Had some issues with assembly but if you can figure it out and add some ingenuity it works very well. Ran my motor on it and it worked fine.

It was exactly as advertised. Easy to assemble, store and very effective as a light motor storage unit. Pay attention to the suggested weight of the motor, it will not be sturdy enough if your motor is heavier than recommended.

First off, it’s a very sturdy boat motor stand and should work nicely. I found the included assembly directions not helpful and worked entirely from the picture of the assembled item, assembling it in essentially reverse order. You’re kind of on your own trying to follow the cryptic instructions. I’ve assembled 100s of various bolt together items, and this one took Less than 30 minutes, just from looking at the picture and parts diagram. One nut was missing, fortunately I happened to have one that would fit. Also one of the pre-drilled holes for a bolt in the hanging bracket piece was not drilled correctly so the bolt would not go in.It just took 10 seconds to re-drill the hole in the metal frame so that it would work-no real problem. After assembly I modified the 45 degree angle lower support struts with removable knobs so that the struts could be easily loosened to allow the stand to fold up into a nearly flat configuration for storage when not in use. Summary: nice stand, difficult to follow assembly instructions.

It is alright for the money. Assembling wasn't that bad. However, It measures quite smaller than the description says. I ordered this mainly because its larger size than others for my large motor which requires a large platform to stabilize itself. I'm returning it.
