Very impressive pump, specially considering the price. My only problem was in replumbing to replace an Starite pump, which I knew I had to do. Plugged in the pump and ran it open while a garden hose refilled the pipes and filter canister with water. Once that was done, closed the lid on the pump, re-started and it has been running no problems (3 weeks) ever since. This pump is just as strong as the Starite (2hp) , but the impressive thing is, this thing is whisper quiet. With the Starite I could always tell it was running just by standing by my daughter's room. With this pump I have to look at the pool water for the telltale ripples on the surface. I cannot hear it running from inside the house. If it lasts 3 years, I will consider it money very well spent. I'll give it the fifth star if it lasts.

Slight modificatiin to filter but worked great. Easy clean basket

Using on a 16x32x 52" pool connected to a 27" sandfilter (running pool filter balls as media) Works amazing.

Shipped fast, and packaged well. Very powerful pump. I really like the strainer. Only been service for about a month, so far so good!

great pump, cold use a better assortment of retro fittings i had to manufacture fittings to hook up to my pool.
