Exactly as advertised
They were exactly as advertised. I'm using them on a John Deere 1025r

they work
Got the items prior to the big snow. Install and plowed my drive with the tractor. Bucket never got caught or chipped the uneven concrete . Could have made them myself but they looked like a good value.

Reasonably well-made except for the abysmal clamping mechanism.
I disliked the plastic knobs used to secure the feet to the loader bucket. I discarded them in favor of some beefy 1/2" bolts after drilling out the supplied nuts and re-threading it with a 1/2" tap. I should not have to rebuild a brand new product to make it useable.

Works as designed
Works as designed. Might want to add backing nut on screw, does vibrate

Excellent value for the price
Overall great. One thing that could be better, locking screw tops should be steel not plastic.

12mm bolts
Received turf tamers yesterday 3/21/22 but NO 12mm bolts to mount them to bucket.. they are advertised with the 12mm mounting bolts.

The welds and paint leave a lot to be desired, but they work...
I liked that these skids simply bolt onto the bucket and, in principle, they work well. But, if you're looking for something that matches your paint scheme and if you want decent welds, look elsewhere. There is a lot of weld splatter and the paint does not match by a long shot. They work for what they are though. I see myself sand blasting, re welding and re painting after the winter season.

Great product
Very well made, thick steel, only downside is the bolt. I replaced the bolts and put nuts, washers and lock washers under top welded nut and on inside of bucket floor, drilled through bucket tighten up bolt then locked it with the other nuts. Very solid and made to last.

Sturdy and well built.
The plate they used for fabrication it thick and sturdy, I can't imagine ever bending it in use. I knocked off one star for the following things I think should be changed. I would have used a larger bolt for clamping, just my feeling that a bigger bolt would be better for something this heavy duty. Secondly I don't like the plastic wheel used for tightening for two reasons. One is I don't feel you can get enough leverage with the small wheel to properly tighten the skid onto your bucket and I feel it will break at some point. I cut the clamping bolt down, didn't need it that long anyway, and welded a nut on it so I can use the same size socket as my clamp on pallet forks use. The ratchet handle gives so much more leverage to tighten the skid down with. The manufacturer could have also welded on a tee handle for additional leverage instead of a plastic wheel.
