This thing is almost too powerful. If there is a thing! I h e 1-1/2 inch pool hoses. This thing runs almost 20 psi. Ridiculous amount of power and volume. This is first season used, so I may come and edit after next season. So far I am impressed. Not too expensive. Texas heat hasn’t tripped it yet. And it’s pretty easily adaptable to any filter system.

For the price, this is a great Pump! I replaced my 1 hp Pentaire with this pump and it works great. As always when you change manufacturers you will have to re-pipe the filter to the new pump. The pump came with its fittings for the intake and output and it didn't take much to adapt it. I have solar heating panels on the roof of my house that peeks at @ 14' the pump has no problem holding the pressure as it pumps up to the panels. The pump is quiet and primes itself. Just remember it is not necessarily about the HP as it is about the Gal.Per.Minute
