This tool has saved me all kinds of time and money. I have done several brake lines with this tool and it makes brake lines a breeze. Just take your time while using it and pay attention to what types of flares you need and it will do great.

This is the flaring tool I wish I had years ago. It does the job beautifully. Forget all the other cheap flare tools that don't hold your lines in place or make crooked flares. This makes the brake job much, much, MUCH faster. I promise. It now takes me less than 20 seconds to complete a double flare. On a stainless line! Try that with your cheap, slipping bench flare tool.

I've used the cheaper bar type tools with the clamp and they suck. Buy this tool and you will want to make flares even on your free time. The tool is well built and hasn't gave me any trouble. I had to read the instructions a few times, but once you understand how it works it will make your life much easier.

While its a bit pricey you'll never regret purchasing. It makes perfect flanges and very easy to use. One note for new users if you have a tight corner put your fitting on and flair the tube before bending.
