In order to use double pulleys, at least one of the pulleys has to have two points for connecting ropes. The Twin Sheave Block and Tackle is unique in actually butting two points of contact on all of its double pulleys. Feel lucky if you buy one of these pulleys.

This product met my expectations

I used this block and tackle to pull a 3,000 pound car onto a trailer. One person could not accomplish this by pulling on the rope by himself, but I think two could have. I had to steer the car... With me steering and my helper on my small lawn tractor we were able to easily pull the car onto the trailer. The system worked perfectly! It did what an expensive electric winch could do. I will now take this block and tackle with me to the track in case the car cannot get on the trailer under its own power. The four star rating is because I don't know how well it will hold up. The axle pins are a fairly small diameter and it looks to be anodized aluminum turning on the plated steel pin. There is nothing to keep dust and dirt out.

This twin sheave block and tackle system with 200' of rope worked great! I used it to pull a large tray of 8" river rocks up a 30 degree 25' slope for four days. I had to use the 4:1 mechanical advantage. It worked great! I oiled the pulleys occasionally and they rotated freely. This system saved me weeks of labor. It was fun belaying back down the hill with the tray. All the components are high quality and now I'm looking for a new application to put this tool to use.

The pulleys were fine, but I ordered a 1/2 inch rope and recieved 10 mm instead.

Durable and easy to use.

Rope run properly the sheaves will be perpendicular, not parallel, and there will be no contact between running lines.

This unit work excellent I was lifting material up 60 feet plus. I attached over 600 pounds and pulled it by hand with ease. it does not like to go down with the ropes without a weight but that is expected being a four-part pulley.
