First of all, the welder arrived very well packages and in excellent condition. The welder works great, setup was easy. Laid down some very nice beads in no time. Only complaint is that the welder arrived with a European style plug on the power cord, no big deal had a plug laying around the shop. It was a 3 minute fix. I have been welding since I was a kid, but no tig welding. The first project was a bed frame which turned out good, with some good looking welds. Next project will be getting into some stainless steel. Very pleased overall

Works good for what i use it for. For the price its a good buy for hobby use.my only two issues was it had a twist lock style plug so had to convert it to another style of plug, and the flow meter that came with it leaked at the fitting and ball didnt even move with a good bit of gas flow..

I was a bit worry about buying this Tig welding machine. But now that I've been using the welderit is a great quality is very much worth the cost.

For the price you can't go wrong. Holds a consistent arc, comes with long leads. The torch accessories aren't the greatest, you will need to use thread tape on the regulator, or it will leak. Other than that, you can switch from 115v or 230v just by changing the plug. The leads are relatively long, probably around 10-12ft. I've ran it on stick and tig, it does it's job. Would highly recommend for light duty or hobby welding. Great gtaw machine for someone trying to learn, practice or for small jobs. It's no Miller Dynasty, but the high frequency start is nice. Can't beat it for the price! Uses a wp-17 torch.

Better than I expected TIG stick excellent HF

Strikes up quick and because it's so light you can take it anywhere. I was skeptical at first because of the price but I admit my thoughts were wrong and this baby is worth the money

Use it daily at my shop

Some of us will have power issues, 220VAC outlets (particularly NEMA L6-30) are hard to find here in the USA. In this case, it's suggested to "swap the plug". Okay, great, how do you do that? This review lost a star because there is no discussion of this subject in the (skimpy) owner's manual.This machine's main power cord has three wires inside: one is blue, one is brown, and one is yellow/green. I went and researched the subject, this unit is wired by EUROPEAN standards, which say: blue = common, brown=hot, yellow/green=ground. I'm gonna go try that in a 110VAC outlet, will let you all know what happens (if I don't hurt myself, that is!).

i bought this machine skeptical of the price.... worth every penny. great for starters and for jobs on the road or your own shop... nice small and compact, once you get use to the machine you will be leaving the same review i am. things awesome. best bang for your buck
