Excellent performance for the price
Like:Hf start is reliable, spark gap comes pre-set and the unit appears to be tested and functions great out of the box.A minor nuisance is the "starting current" minimum appears to be 20A so although the arc starts without issue every time, you might struggle with very thin materials (razor blades, soda cans)Another minor nuisance is the "clean" setting as in "cleaning" or "penetration" or "ac balance" setting is in terms of Electrode Positive i.e. 5%-50%. Not bad per se just remember to calculate the inverse if you're copying settings from the internet. 65% on someone else's machine would be 35% on this machine. This is probably obvious but just subtract the number from 100 should get you pretty close.Sometimes the amperage output can be a little weird. The display will indicate 5A current but it seems like the current output decreases slightly after increasing the current while welding. Sometimes the machine seems to be delivering less current than the display indicates. This could be a combination of things. Technique, particularly the distance between the work and the tungsten electrode seems to lessen the impact quite a bit.Otherwise the machine is excellent so far, has been great with up to 14awg aluminum sheet on 120v input.Dislike:None of the included accessories were useful except the included gas hose and tig torch body.Accessory specifics:Handheld face shield isn't very useful for tig welding, maybe stick. It and the wire brush are standard accessories that are usually included with welders but you're probably going to want to buy an auto-dark helmet and a decent set of wire brushes.Argon regulator was good quality but has Cga-320 fitting. Will not fit a standard CGA-580 gas bottle fitting. You would need to purchase a Cga-580 To Cga-320 Adapter unless your bottle has that fitting. Maybe I'm in the minority but I've never seen that fitting on argon welding bottles.Tig torch is a standard WP-26 torch.Mine came with a #6 cup and 3/32 collet installed. Tung

Works great, foot pedal not ideal
The welder works great especially for the price. Although if you plan on using a foot pedal don't count on the one that comes with it. It is on/off only and seems very cheap. With that being said you can make it work just fine without a foot pedal since you can adjust upslope and downslope, along with pretty much every setting you can adjust on higher end units.

I rolled the device and won.
Being new to TIG welding, I did a lot of research and YouTube watching. I created a checklist of what I thought I needed and this was the cheapest on Amazon that checked all the boxes. So far, DC welding has been great. The pedal is only in/off so I haven't bothered with it, I use the already installed switch on the torch. Everything seems to be easy to setup once you understand the settings and this novice has been having great success with it.If I was to have a main complaint, it is with the regulator, it didn't fit my tank and I bought another $25 regulator to resolve the problem.

Powerful cheap welder
Unboxed the unit and got a good look at all of it first. Comes with all the leads and a cheapy welding mask lol. The tig torch is surprisingly good, has a nice switch on the torch. The ground and stick torch are nice and sturdy but unfortunately the leads for them are pretty short only about 5 or 6 foot. That said I have welded half inch hardened steel and as thin as 20ga thin wall tubing.

This welder machine makes an amateur feel himself like an expert.
I feel it is very worthy to spent every dollar on this welder.

Good for a cheap welder
I've got about 6 hours of welding time on it, now. For the money, it's not bad at all. Just don't try any heavy material. I'm pretty sure if you stick to thin metal, it should be ok. Four star, it only added 10 horsepower to my car. Gotta add 25 horsepower if you want 5 star. I have to poop, now. Thank you

Nice
Good tig for the price. Using it for body work on an old car. Works fine for sheet metal. Have not used for anything else.
