I unboxed this machine and directly got to playing with it. I had watched many videos and took note of many handy tips. I purchased this unit specifically for a motorcycle custom build project. The motorcycle is a 78 Honda and requires a lot of rust removal and cleaning of the parts. I bought some inexpensive plastic ware with lids as a way to test out many different cleaning agents without the need to drain and clean the tank after each use. Filled the tank partially with HOT water. Test 1 was with old bolts, gas cap and screws that were covered in rust and grime. I filled a plastic container with Pinesol and submerged the pieces, sealed the lid and placed in the ultrasonic cleaner until it was below the water line. Set for 5 minutes and walked away. They came out much cleaner. Test 2 I rinsed with hot water and placed them in the next container filled with Rust Remover, placed in the cleaning unit, set for 10 minutes and walked away. Holy Cow! They came out looking brand new. I plan to test out different agents on different items to be cleaned but I am thoroughly impressed.Tips: * Partially fill unit with HOT water * Place items to be cleaned in ziploc bag/glass jar/plastic container filled with cleaning agent * Place container in water bath until pieces are submerged below water line * Rinse off with hot water and dry immediately after cleaning * I prefer containers that the cleaning agent can be sealed and reused as opposed to disposing of after each usePros: * Ready to use out of the box * Includes hose and clamp to make draining easier * Includes rack and tea decanter ball for small parts * Not nearly as loud as many reviews had me to believe * Makes quick work of small jobs that would take hours of tedious workCons: * Slow to heat up (TIP: fill with HOT water) * 10 L unit was not nearly as big as I had pictured in my mind

This is my first ultrasonic cleaner. It works well and is easy to use to clean my bike parts. For best results, I crank it all the way up to 80C, but it takes a long time to heat up. The only way it gets hot is to run the machine.

I have been using this as a sonicator for graphite exfoliation in my experiments in my hobby lab. It works great and is a good value.

30l Ultrasonic Cleaner Stainless Steel Industry Heated Heater W/timer

I restore vintage mechanical clocks as a hobby. This VEVOR model ultrasonic cleaner is approximately gallon-sized. It has plenty of space to immerse the wheels, gears, pallets, plates and miscellaneous parts of a typical vintage brass clockworks from the 1800s and 1900s. With an appropriate ammoniated cleaning solution, the parts come out shiny and clean as new, after only four minutes. 100 years of oil, tobacco smoke, grease and grime gone in 240 seconds!For smaller jobs, I can fill the tank with a gallon of water and a teaspoon of dawn dish soap, then put cleaning solution in a small "auxiliary" jar, add the parts to the jar, screw on the top, put the jar in the included immersible basket, set the basket in the water, and three minutes later I have "new" parts! This conserves on cleaning solution.I'm very pleased with this product, and have no complaints.

Temperature is crappy but definitely cleans well

As advertised, little slow to heat, but start with hot water and you are good to go. Worked well on gun bolt groups and wife's jewelry.

have a 40 hp nissan motor . overheated an blew head gasket sucked in water into all 3 carbs. i did the repairs an cleaned an rebuilt the carbs as per shop manual. never ran right since. was going to buy 3 new carbs at 200 bucs a carb but the national parts distributor closed down .the boat sat for 3 years. a neighbor kid who works on lawnmowers told me about ULTRASONIC cleaners . told me only get a VEVOR the rest are junk. use a 50/50 mix of simple green purple HD ( all metal safe ) an distilled water.. after i recleaned the carbs in the VEVOR an let the water cool down. a was floored when i saw all the crap an chunks of sea grass in water..it all came from the ports an places that could not be seen or gotten to.. buttoned the carbs back together , now runs like a spanked race horse.. better then new.. SO HAPPY..
