Requires water pressure to work. Not able to use it for my intended purpose.

Great pump for the price.I am using it for hot water recirculation on the lowest setting (#1) and getting 1.2 gallons/min.I put it on a smart plug and control it from my Google Home to have hot water ready when desired.The 3/4" npt fittings were perfect for connecting to my 3/4" copper piping with quick connect stainless flex water heater pipe; only took me a little over15 minutes to install.Note: testing it before installation was a failure cause it won't self prime and needs a little inlet pressure to work.

The pump arrived when it was expected, worked as we hoped and is quiet. It’s been on the job for 6 hours/day circulating hot water as we hoped for a month now, being controlled by a smart plug. Good product!

The add reads 3/4 FPT the unions that come with it are 1/2 inch may need bushings

The pump itself works great. However, the connectors shown in the photo and that came with the pump were not actual pipe fittings. I had to innovate to connect the pump in my hot water circuit.
