Great for the Money
I am a Hobby welder not a pro I currently run a Lincoln 250 water cooled tig machine and have used Miller mig machines before. I was looking for a decent mobile gas mig welder for a good price. I chose this model because it had wire speed adjustment and voltage. most models had a simple one knob adjusts all. I can put down a decent weld on 3/4"thk material with decent penetration. I even tried the stick welding feature and it was very smooth and could handle 3/4"thk material with 3/32 rod. I am happy with the power of this machine. also you can use 110 or 220 that's makes it even more versatile. it will accept a spool of wire up to ~8" dia with ~2"hole. I wasn't sure what size spools this would handle not much info on that. (see the photo) i purchased a spool from lowes works great. also the rollers can be flipped one side 1mm(.035) and other is .8mm(.030) I haven't run 1mm not sure if the gun runs it? the gun is decent quality. visually looks similar to competitor welders maybe made by the same manufacture? I am not sure where to get new tips for the gun? anyways I was a little hesitant to buy a low cost welder from a manufacture i never heard of. but i am glad i did so far. don't forget you need to buy a regulator and a tank if you want to do tig or gas mig. adds another ~$200 depending on size.

manuel incomplet

Good little welder. Not lift start tig.
Bought this several months ago but I wanted to test it completely before writing a (lengthy) review. I used it with a 220v wall socket first and then a 220v generator and I honestly didn't see a difference.Out of the box I noticed right away that the ground clamp is not great. It works, but should be replaced. The cable for the ground clamp is VERY short. Everything else seemed solid and decent quality.Stick welding was surprisingly easy. The rod clamp actually holds well and has a decent length cable. Ran through a few common rods and had no real trouble with DCEP and DCEN. I did notice it ran a little hot. After dialing back the power it worked flawlessly.Mig welding was a little harder. Its a very unforgiving welder so dial in your settings BEFORE trying to weld. Practice a on some scrap until its perfect.I tried flux core first and it worked fine. Then I tried dual shield with c25 and it was surprisingly good. After that I ran solid wire and it was also pretty good.Lastly I tried tig welding with it. IT IS NOT A LIFT TIG. IT IS A SCRATCH START. Tungsten is always live so be careful. Started out with a 1/16 red tungsten, gas lens, pure argon, and a #8 cup.The tig torch leaks horribly and will have to be replaced. The cable and gas hose are decent length.Even with it being a scratch start and a leaking torch, tig welding was pretty good. Like with stick and mig, it ran a little hot. It was very smooth and the puddle was easy to control. I had no problems with carbon steel and stainless steel. Its also worth noting that I blew past the rated duty cycle several times and it never stopped welding. All in all...it is a decent little welder. Obviously it isnt commercial grade but for home use it's great. I would have honestly given it 5 stars but the tig torch leaked, the short ground cable, and the cheap ground clamp.

Excellente performance pour le prix.
Excellent mig.

SupriIng welder!
This welder is surprising for its size and price. Does as good as the big name brands without hurting the pocket book. The only minus is that you can't hook up a foot switch for tig welding.

Loving It
So far so good. This thing works like a champ. I have only used the MIG welding so far, but if the rest goes like this, I am very happy with it.

Not fancy, but does the job. YGWYPF
This is a bottom of the bucket budget mig welder. I do not expect it to last forever. But it does weld, albeit not great, but that’s to be expected. The wire feed and amp/voltage read outs are gibberish. They don’t really seem to match what they’re actually putting out. You basically have to go by feel. Having used a Lincoln previously (borrowed from a friend) I basically just guessed the amps and wire speed and got close, then fine tuned before committing. It definitely feels cheap, but not criminally so. It sticks metal together for sure. But it’s very clearly not a Miller or an esab, which it isn’t trying to be. Four stars because there’s virtually no document support that coincides with what the machine says, but if you’re not a moron and do some googling before welding you’ll be able to weld.
