I used this pump for my 6.5 hp. log splitter. Everything concerning installation went very well. It's a bit over priced but what isn't these days. I could not tell if it was made in China, which ( SUCKS ! ) , or in the USA. The instructions are very vague at best but if you are at all mechanically inclined then you should have no problems. Please buy American !Good luck and be safe...

it came very fast and worked great. we have an old Oliver tractor that the hydraulic pump went out and you cant find replacements anymore so my husband was able to rig it up to work the tractors hydraulics. We use it to operate a hydraulic log splitter most of the time

This was exactly what I needed and worked great to repair my log splitter

This is a great pump for a great price. This hydraulic pump was purchased for an old log splitter. It has a ¾ npt outlet with a 1” hose barb inlet. The hose barb does unthread, but I'm unsure of the thread type. I think it's Metric fine thread. I used the hose barb. The pump was installed on the splitter without issue, and the hydraulic connections were in the same place as the original pump, so the old hydraulic hoses still fit. Everything works as it should. The log splitter is back up and running.

One I figured out how the lines went. And the right configuration for the in and out. It works better then the original pump. I have yet to figure out where the two-stage part comes into play yet. It would be very helpful to have instruction with the pump kit.
