We use 2 of them pretty regular with Troemner mixing blades. Lasted years until 1 quit and replacing it.

It's a good product. Mixing rode paddles could be a little more robust but other than that, fair price.

Very good quality device. Works in our laboratory. Our only concern was the need for a slower motor speed - such as 30 - 50 rpms. The seller was very cooperative in discounting the price as we had to replace the motor with a slower 12V. We use it day in and day out. Runs sometimes for 7 days straight, 24 hours a day. Good electronics. Solid stable base. Good chrome and paint finish.

This is an excellent overhead lab mixer/stirrer for your home lab that really packs a punch.I use it in my DIY skincare crafting and it's been a game changer. POWERFUL stirring rod that can at highest setting can blend through even the thickest emollient creams. Adjustable speed (strength) to fit viscosity of whatever your mixer, also with a TIMER that can be set up to an hour. Very user friendly, adjustable rod so you can raise or lower stirring rod to beaker size.Only negative is that there are zero instructions for assembly. Looking at the image it's easy to guess but I still had trouble... Connect two plain steel rods via screwing. Then connect to black base. Small hole black base goes first (down), large hole black base goes on top (up). Top holds stirring apparatus, bottom one holds tongs to hold stirring in place. Connect to power and go.
