Why would you pay for a chimney sweep?This chimney sweep is so easy to use and stretched way farther than I ever thought it would. I can’t believe what I got out of my flu. Just the Stretch of the all the Links was so helpful. Thank you again for such a great product, keep it up!!!

Used for a pellet stove

This kit worked like a charm for my wood stove. It bent around a double 90 degree turn fairly easily while using the drill. When I received the package there was some corrosion on several of the tips (probably because the box was partially left in the rain when delivered), but some wd-40 and quick brushing cleaned it right up and got the locking mechanism working smoothly again.

I used this to clean my chimney, a fireplace insert with a stainless steel flue liner. It worked as expected, went round all the angles and transitions with ease, and the result was a clean chimney. I give it 5 stars but do want to point out that is not professional quality. If that's what you expect you would rate it lower. For homeowners using it once or twice a year it is perfect. It more than paid for itself in the first use ($80 for tool vs $150 to get a Chimney Sweep to come to the house.)

My chimney is mostly soot and ash, so this brush cleaned the pipe real good. I cleaned the pipe from the bottom, which was very easy. The only problem was trying to keep the soot from coming into the house. Even though I had the vacuum running the whole time some soot still got by. DO NOT WEAR THE GLOVES THEY PROVIDE. Those gloves are sticky and will bind up on the rods.

The item was used to clean a 6" chinmey pipe and worked as advertised. The connections were easily made and I was able to clean the chimney from the ground.

The wood we burn in our area makes a ton of creosote that requires chimney pipe cleaning more frequently. Chimney fires only after a month of frequent use are common due to the creosote build up. Coupled with our brutal and snowy winters, getting on roofs with ice and standing snow in winter is a challenge. This product is a game changer. I have about a 25 foot run with a 45 degree bend. This was able to bend to that angle with minimal effort and went all way up to the chimney cap. The head works well in my 8 inch metal piping. This gives you the freedom to clean your pipes whenever you need without battling weather and steep roofs. Use a drop cloth for mess. Make sure if you use a drill to slow the speed so you don't sheer screws. Work top to bottom slowly. I disconnected the extensions as I worked down. Someone mentioned some painters tape where the extensions connect. I highly recommend that as you don't want to fish this out of your pipe if gets disconnected. The connections seem secure but why risk it.
