Although product does ship without parts list or instructions, I found the seller very easy to communicate with and ready to solve my problems. Most cooperative and the ladder itself is a good value at this price point.

Some bolts were missing so we had to go buy some. The ladder has sharp edges so we had to use boat bumpers on and around it. But it seems sturdy and does the job.

Works great for our kayak dock.

This product came with no assembly instructions nor a picture to go by as far as assembly. Once completed it fell short of functionality. I do not recommend this product at all.

No instructions were provided with order. After requesting instructions Company sent pictures of the ladder for instructions. As a first time dock owner I will get professional help with assembly and installation as I do not want any safety issues after installation.

I installed this on my boathouse pier to get in and out of the bay. The product showed up quickly and as others had mentioned it had no instructions. It's pretty easy to assemble after you get the pieces sorted out. The fact that it has no flat and lock washers is a big deal and they need to be added for future customers. I had to make two plates to attach it to my thruflow decking but that was not the manufacturers problem. It works as advertised and adjusted perfectly to reach the sand bottom. The retractable feature is very simple and gets the ladder out of the water and keeps it out of the way once stowed. I'm happy with what I paid and hopefully this will last a long time.

The box came with all the parts and NO INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO PUT ALL THE PIECES TOGETHER. After several attempts to assemble the product (lots of screwing and unscrewing) I finally figured out how it went together. I think the ladder would work better with 2 guides each side as the ladder binds as you try to raise the lower section. I live on the Colorado River which fluctuates up and down daily (controled by dam). That is why I needed a ladder that raised and lowered.

The ladder came with no paperwork, no instructions not even a good photo, I emailed.. called for 2 days before getting a real person and they still never sent instructions..........

Very disappointed that it didn't come with instructions. Product was not delivered to house, driver left it at the end of a 1/4 mile long driveway.
