I’ve used this splicer about 15 times now. It’s just as good as the high priced ones, maybe better because it hasn’t had any drama. It splices the fiber without issues like many of the higher end splicers have. Personally I think the cleaver has a lot to do with that. So this one included may be worth what the whole splicer costs. One of the best cleavers I’ve used in 24 years of Telecom installs.

First off, I have not used fusion splicer even though I have been working with fiber for 20+ years. I have seen them used, just not actually used one.I will start off by saying that the build quality on this seems phenomenal. The cleaver that comes with this is worth the cost alone. (I paid twice as much for the cleaver I use everyday when I bought it 5 years ago) this kit is complete, everything you will need to get going.

Very good splicing machine. Works extremely fast and makes excellent splices. It’s also a very good value. Don’t let the low price scare you, as it’s built well and works great.

Works great. You might need to adjust the heat shirink time down a little. Sleeves get stuck factory settings. To be expected.Very nice product for the price. It's built well and the cleaver is my favorite!

I have purchased 4 of these for my field techs. They have held up and have performed. Battery time has been great. I was skeptical because of the price but I wanted all the techs to carry on in there truck. After almost a year they all are still working with no major problems.
