Bought (8) rolls of this in light grey with white stripes in spite of the neg reviews. I just could not believe a manufacturer could get color and line alignments that wrong. Here's what I found upon inspection:1. The color match among the 8 roles were exactly the same but depending upon light and shadow can appear slightly different due to the 3 dimensional texture of the surface and beveled lines. One should carefully check the roll direction prior to glue down for any grain difference to assure best match.2. The rolls are not precision cut. You will need to do a critical line alignment from inside lines first before committing to cut the perimeter edges. This may waste a line section or two but it will assure perfect alignment of the lines in the area you are covering.3. Adhesion. Think of the self adhesive on the back of the material as a surface prep glue only. It will not suffice to just depend upon it for bonding. You must begin with a clean, smooth surface before install and then use a flooring cement to prep the surface with as the maker clearly states. Then, you will have a solid bond. Warning... this stuff tears easily and it will depend upon a solid cured bond to bolster its resiliency against gouges and tears after its installed and in service. Use a wax paper barrier to position the material perfectly over the glued surface before making the glue contact. You won't be able to reposition it after contact. Use a flooring cement compatible with the self adhesive and your deck surface that will lend itself to replacing the floor later without a great deal of scraping off of the glued foam backing material from your deck.In conclusion, this stuff is super inexpensive, cozy on the toes, adds soundproofing to below deck engines, come in a great selection of colors but will not outlast the far more expensive (vinyl only) teak stripe options. Install and treat this floor material with great care and you'll have the best deck surface available for the price.
