I recently had a need for an anvil. I had one years ago, but got rid of it. My local warehouse didn't have anything, so I turned to Amazon. I found this one and thought I'll give it a try.So far I'm pretty happy with it. It feels solid and rings well. I haven't seen the defects that others have mentioned and I've been beating the stuffings out of this since receiving it.Are there better anvils out there? I'm sure there are, but for me, this works out just fine.

It is a good buy it does have some casting defects and you need to be sure to hit your work but it is a massive improvement over a railroad track, the horns are pretty dead, but still a breeze to forge on, and with a little clean up this will do the work you need it to

Just the right part I needed

For the price this anvil is great. My son is trying to get into metal working so I got him this anvil for Christmas. He’s already started using it and it’s just a great size for beginners. It’s a great buy!

I got what was in the picture though I thought I wouldn't, it came in good condition no dings or scratches. the package it came in was sub par though

It needs some dressing up out of the box. The blue paint is hideous. It's not quite as nice as a name brand anvil. But for the hobbyist that can't find a good old anvil it works good. Two notes for the manufacturer (as if they'll ever see this). Stop filling it with bondo, and stop painting it. They look so much better with the casting imperfections on display and in a natural steel color.

Best for the price and Finnish was great could not ask for better
