Grest tumbler for the price.
I like the design of this tumbler. It is well put together and does a good job of tumbling rocks. It runs a little on the fast side even on the lowest setting but I like that as it makes the initial stages of rock tumbling a little quicker. The main problem I have with it is keeping drive belts on it as they keep breaking.

Works great to polish silver jewelry. Wish it has a slower speed though.

Nice, heavy, pretty quiet
This machine is really heavy and works well. I've been using it for a week and I love it. I'm hoping it will last a long while but cannot speak to that. Nice that they sent some shot, extra gasket and belt. I ordered extra shot and polishing liquid and am glad I did. No instructions but not too hard. I watched YouTube for use. I use for copper jewelry. Switch button left for forward and reverse. Switch it right for just forward. Speed 1 is fast enough... Higher seems like overkill.

Easy to use and result is great

Good enough for me!
Almost perfect. My only gripe is that the barrel door can be a little tricky to secure and create a watertight seal (you get better with practice).

Brass Tumbler Rifle/Pistol
Been using this as a rifle/pistol brass tumbler off and on for probably 2 months now. Ran 400 pieces of de-primed 40 S&W brass thru it last night broken up into 3 loads. (probably would have been fine with 2 loads.) I use stainless steel media and the usual couple of drops of dish soap and a little Lemi-Shine. For just normally dirty brass, I run for an hour per load at the lowest speed, and it does a really good job. I am very satisfied with this purchase. About the only gripe that I have is that the slowest speed is still faster than what I would like. That's not a deal breaker though, and wouldn't be too hard to modify, but it does a good enough job as it is I guess so why mess with it? I just suspect that it might do better at a little slower RPM.

Great Tumbler for Polishing Jewelry
I read all of the reviews and still purchased this tumbler. I'm so glad that I did. The steel tumbling media included with it is junk and will rust immediately. Throw it away and order something else. The tumbler itself has held up to prolonged daily use for almost 6 months now. There is no belt to fall off. You need to be careful when closing the tumbler to make sure it seals but that is true with any device like this even ones that cost hundred of dollars more. Buy new stainless tumbling media and you have yourself a FANTASTIC tumbler. You can literally pay hundreds of dollars for a tumbler that works as well as this one.

A successful experiment.
I purchased this tumbler for cleaning the tips and strainers for my farm sprayers. It does a decent job of getting my pieces clean as long as I use the right detergents. These parts are pretty light, if the tumbler is overfilled they don't tumble, just go round and round. So for this purpose if spins a little fast. I also wish I would have purchased the larger one. Overall I am satisfied.

There is a continuous operation mode!
I am using this as a ball mill to make fine metal powders and noticed some stuff in the other reviews I want to clarify.1) It has a 60-minute timer but if you turn it counterclockwise until you hear a click, it will run continuously. (As long as I have been testing anyways).2) Operational speed even on the slowest (1), is quite fast and easily makes short work of whatever you throw in it. 5-speed throws everything onto the walls but this might not be the case if you add more weight to the barrel.3) Mine didn't arrive like the picture shows as mine has a hexagonal seal and the picture has a circular one.4) You can disable and enable bi-directional switching by the switch on the lower section of the front panel.5) Very robust and has some weight to it.Conclusion: Easily one of the best tumblers I have. I will update this review after using it continuously for a couple of weeks.
