Does what it is supposed to
I have no prior experience with a plasma cutter. It took maybe 20 minutes to get it put together and set up. I have tried it on thin gauge steel and copper and a up to about 1/8 inch steel. The thin gauge cuts very quickly and fairly clean. The thicker took some time, but made the cut. It does what it is supposed to. I was using it at 120 volts, but have read it will perform better at 240, so will be wiring it with a dual plug so I can use it at 120 or 240.I have no idea how long this will last. I am guessing for a casual user like me it will last forever. Time will tell.Be forewarned that a regular welding helmet will probably be too dark. I could not see the line. I purchased brazing goggles with a #5 darkness. Do your own research to decide how dark you want.I would recommend this plasma cutter.

Instruction Manual is insufficient
Once hooked up, it worked well, but setting it up was not clear for a new user. First, the unit comes with a 110V plug, yet it is sold as a 110/220VAC unit. The instruction manual gives no assistance as to how to convert it to 220VAC. There is no schematic or guidance or note to replace the plug with a 220V plug and it will work. There is no guidance as to a switch to change voltage. But, if you just cut off the 110V plug and replace it with a 220V plug, it does work. Also, on the website, there is no place to purchase replacement ceramic and copper consumables for the torch.

Nice little Cutter
Really nice little plasma cutter. Came with everything I needed to get it going. I have the 220vac available, so I went that route. Only reason I couldn't give it a 5 star was the fact it came wired with what appears to be 14ga 110 wiring which if you were to try to use it on full power with the 110vac it would most likely end up with a real heating issue on the wiring. I went with 10/3 wiring and a 25' cord.
