We've used several brands of wire for our railings, and this spool is as good or better than the others we've used. Comes in a big spool and look identical to other 1/8\" wire we've used and installed. Check out my video for a look at the spool.

This is quality cable. I works great to help hold up a snow fence and privacy screen on my deck. It comes in a big roll (it's heavy..) and since it's stainless steel I won't have to worry about it rusting out. I like using cable instead of rope or other cheap wire since it will last and doesn't stretch out. Word of advice, get a good cutter for this. Simple wire cutters will work if you take it in chunks, but a dedicated cable cutter makes this a lot easier. Good stuff, I hope this was helpful.

I ordered this for a project that will be left outside year round. Since this cable is stainless steel, it should help greatly with corrosion. As you know, the rustier cable gets, the less working load you have and end up with a failure. The working load strength is much higher than that what my local hardware store has. This cable is rated at 1320 and the galvanized at the store is recommended at 400. That's a big difference when better quality is just a little more. Happy with this item.

Stainless cable. 1000 foot roll. Look like Marine Grade but won't be installing it until Summer which is about 5 months away. for a new railing on our lake house deck.

I am so glad to have this cable for my home projects. I have spent probably tripple the cost at Lowes buying by the foot, for only 1% of this reel length. It comes on a spool, be careful, it is heavy! Still an easy 1 person lift.

I use this for a post and wire railing and it looks awesome I would definitely purchase this again anybody looking into purchasing this do not hesitate and you can't beat the price. Delivery was super fast it got to me in a few days
