So, this rack is not a perfect fit for a 2018 HR-V EX model, but I believe it will do an adequate job for carrying small loads. The product does not come with installation instructions. I found a post by another HR-V owner who installed this unit, so I was able to follow that guide somewhat.Some of the issues I had:The black rubber weather protectors for the ends of the rails simply don’t fit in the rail gutters; the ends of the rubber guards pop out of the back rail gutter slightly.The metal expander pieces didn’t fit into the passenger side rail gutter. I had to remove them from the rail and compress them slightly to get them to fit prior to installing the passenger side roof rail.The crossbars are another issue. The screw holes for the rubber inserts for the ends of the crossbars don’t line up exactly, and I needed to expand the holes in the rubber with a drill in order to get the screws to thread. The screws themselves thread at an awkward angle, and the included allen key is not an adequate tool for tightening the screws (unless you want to spend two hours turning the screws a quarter turn at a time).Finally, the silver caps for the holes on the rails do not always sit flush with the rail. The included plastic inserts are brittle and break very easily, so be careful. The included adhesive strips for these pieces don’t seem like they will last. Only time will tell, but installing these caps was one of the most frustrating parts of the installation. Make sure you install the caps prior to installing the crossbars.Given that there are limited choices for after market roof rails for the HR-V EX and LX models, this will suffice, but I may remove this and reinstall the weather stripping if I decide to sell the car.

No drilling. Super easy looks great better then OEMI love the results I wish it cost less but the rails had all the parts included to mount to the factory position. If you drive a LX this is a East mod to spice up your ride and give you a place to store skis so you can drive more people in the car and keep your car cleaner. This came with no instructions but it’s as easy as pulling off the old weatherstrip that is mounted in the rain gutter on the roof, bolt down to all four permanent posts.you may bend the clips they won’t be used later then bolt everything in its logical place. Once bolted up it hold the roof so tight that when you shake it the entire car moves!

Solid product, very sturdy. Only 4 stars because it came with no instructions whatsoever and I just had to wing it. That said, once I figured out how it went, installation went smoothly and everything fit into place just fine. Has been great for hauling the kayaks around for the summer! So glad this was an option for my HRV Ex, much better than some other alternatives that are out there.

Great SOLID product! Fit perfectly on my 2018 LX HRV. Looking at installing something like this or a similar product was in between 700-1400$ at the dealership (with parts and labor) so needless to say this was a great deal and worth the time it takes to install. If you pull on it to check sturdiness the whole car moves with it. Four stars for not having instructions, but common sense can get you through it! First time writing a review because I am so impressed, and was a little unsure of spending the money, but, worth it!!!

So far so good. I bought these for kayak racks . I haven't added them yet though. These were easy enough for me to put them on by hand. No tools required. After I purched the maker of the rack emailed me directions and said if I have any questions to let him know. So far they are what I needed and I didn't even need the directions.I have a 2015 Jeep Renegade.

Install was fairly easy, used my impact drill so it went quick.

Fits perfectly in my CX 5 MAZDA. No problem of installing it. I highly recommend it.

I have a 2019 CX-5. I just installed these and had no problems, they fit perfectly, anyone with basic skills can install them. They came with no instructions, I searched up a video on you tube on how to install them.They are solid, painted aluminum, I’m happy. Way less then OEM rails.Now that these are on, I just ordered some aftermarket crossbars to complete my roof rack for a fraction of dealer/OEM cost.

I really love the colour, it fits on my CX-5 JET BLACK, AWESOME!!! (It's on YouTube how to install it). Fair price great material.
