We were using about one gallon a day of distilled water. This machine has saved us many trips to the store for water, already. The machine works great and is very little bother to keep clean.

We aren’t drinking the water. It’s for cpap machines. No problems yet. The lid is a bit awkward to get off the glass container. I haven’t done a major cleaning yet.

Distillate is used for both drinking and refilling humidifier. Still produces crystal clear and pleasant tasting water.

Distiller works quickly, but it also has a higher temperature of 226F. The glass collection jug is heavy and putting on the handle with brackets sucked (- 1 star). I do not know about longevity and hope the thermal bypass keeps working.

Fortunately I have previous experience with a much more expensive megahome and the same complaint too. The average person won’t be able to assemble either of them. What threw me off was the extra seal. I put it on and it wouldnt seal because there was already one on it! Never would have figured it out had I not had my other distiller to look at.Aside from assembly this thing works great. I actually prefer the jug on this cheap one. The lid is a little tricky but it pours better and the lid doesnt fall in to the jug like the megahome does.I bought the 3 year warranty. If it breaks I wont be out anything.I love the stop button. I love having 2 distillers. One was just not enough for 2 people. Now I can fill my bottom loading 5 gal water machine.The water had no metallic after taste even without a charcoal packet. They said to expect it in the first 7-8 runs (which was true with the magahome).Cleaning tip: Buy 1.75 liters of cheap vodka and distill it . This is where the stop button comes in handy. After the first liter youll want to stop it when it starts to taste watery. NOTHING cleans a distiller better than vodka.

Lo estoy utilizando hace 7 días, lo pongo 3 veces al día, cada vez hace 3 litros de agua, yo le pongo agua osmotizada y la destila y sabe bien. Un día le puse agua del grifo e igual, el agua sabía muy bien. Yo orino más desde que bebo agua destilada. La aconsejo para la salud y espero que su funcionamiento siga igual. Gracias

I really like this water distiller. It is really easy to use. I wish the catch pitcher was not glass though. I keep thinking I am going to break it.

This water distiller works wonderful. We purchased the distiller because we were having a difficult time buying distilled water.

Works ok the cleaner is odd to clean "the dirty" big lump of detergent,no way to get any more no one to contact.
