I bought the stainless steel distiller, and this review is for that. I love this distiller, with one exception: the cap that the spigot is supposed to fit into isn’t aligned with the spigot placement. To fix this, I first had to put half a clothespin under the opposite side of the carafe as a shim, so the two would align. And then, I got the idea to use a silicone straw to bridge the gap and that’s been working great. So, I took one star off for the misalignment. The closed cap works fine.I use this distiller to make cannabis oil for my sister who was diagnosed with stage four cancer. It does a great job at removing most of the alcohol, the rest of which I I remove using a water bath.

I have been buying 2 gal of Distilled Water every other week for the CPAP I have to use for Sleep Apnea. During the Winter months Flu, Colds and sinus congestion complicate night breathing. This Vevor Distiller provides an adequate supply of sterile water for both CPAP and sinus flush to keep my head open and breathing. This Distiller will pay for itself in next few months. I would recommend to anyone purchasing this unit to set it up in a garage or a room with an outside exhaust fan. At the end of a cycle it is like walking into bathroom after someone has taken a hot shower. Also, the Nozzle contains the charcoal filter pack and must be securely pressed into the body of the unit - otherwise the pitcher will not fit under the nozzle. BC

This is the second one I have purchased, so now I am not distilling water all day, with two running I can get four gallons of distilled water in half the time.

Never have I been so excited about drinking water. Just knowing that the water coming out of this is more pure then tap, bottled, filtered and reversed osmosis water truly makes me happy. I've never put much thought behind where my drinking water comes from until I watched a lecture and demonstration on it. Never have I been scared about picking a glass and wondering what harm this could do to me maybe not now but even in the future. With this distiller all of those worries are laid to rest. You'll immediately notice that the taste is so much better then anything else you've ever had.Also as a cleaning note I just use white vinegar and it cleans up nicely.

Have used this product to make my distilled water. Scottsdale water is just horrible! Now I have water to which I add back quality trace minerals, use for coffee, broths, and drinking. Excellent product, simple to use and clean. Lorraine G

I received this distiller to use for water. There was a resistor in a sealed packet in with the parts. I believe resistors are used to control the temperature. I didn't know if it needed to be installed. I spent two hours trying to research it. I tried to send a message to the manufacturer, but it was not accepted. I checked other distiller companies, but they didn't include this part. I tried using it twice so far. It takes an hour less than my old distiller and holds a little more water. It seems to work very well, but the water spout does not match up with the water tank, so make sure you get it in the right spot.

I love this thing. No more gallon jugs !! Does a great job turning my poor water into quality distilled water. Easy to clean with straight white vinegar.

Updated Review, the seller offered to send a replacement unit and it's on the way. Nice distiller at a good price. Great customer service.This distiller works well and is well made, using all metal internal parts. Great lower cost option, with quality construction and glass pitcher. Handle needs to be installed on pitcher, but it's pretty easy if you're comfortable with a screwdriver.Thank You !
