just the right size to put in and out of my truck for shoeing horses for years i have loaded and unloaded my 165 anvil this works great thanks

Its a great anvil

Arrived without rust. Decently hard face for a "cheap" anvil. Edges were too sharp and needed to be dressed. The horn is rough with casting marks but it is easy enough to fix with an angle grinder. The pritchel hole is poorly placed so that there is no support around it. If you need a small inexpensive anvil this will serve you decently well.

Will be used to form forged steel, soon.

So far so good. Very happy with it.

I bought this thing, it is definitely not cast iron but cast steel. It’s sturdy and hold up very well. The only real complaint I have is the Pritchel hole. Of course when you get an anvil this cheap it needs some dressing. But with a little time and effort, it’s great for the price! 10/10 recommend!

The steel is not hard at all. When I hit it with my hammer it leaves dents in the metal

I am a beginning Smith but I have already used this for some fairly heavy hammering and it is holding up very well.This is a screaming deal for the price.
