Bought for Christmas gift and it definitely works well easy to use instructions are not very well had to watch a few videos on how to us it properly but it’s definitely and awesome gift and very reasonable price for a 5 gal still

This is amazing! My only complaint is didn’t get the fermenter shown in the picture. Otherwise everything else is amazing, couple extra seals, everything goes together easily! The book is a little iffy, but you can figure it out. Looking forward to making more stuff with it! Just to be on the safe side I ran a pot of just water and just ran a quart out of it. Just to make sure it was sterile before I did anything else. But you can do whatever you want.

Arrived on time , works great , I only wish the second pot ( thumper) was a little larger. Right out of the box from ease of setup to first use was simple with no problem.

I am mainly using this to make distilled water and maybe at some point will try something else. For my use it does work well. As I have never distilled even water before... I am not an expert at using this system. But, it seems to be of very good quality. I have found that I can distill about a gallon of distilled water in about 3 hours or so... it is not fast to do this process! And, it takes a lot of ice to keep the cooling tower condensing well. I pre-freeze 1/2 gallon blocks (at least 6 of these) prior to distilling to make 1 gallon. I am still playing/testing with this... is this still worth the cost... yes. Just know (if you never done this kind of thing) it does take time to get anything (even distilled water) out of it.

System works great, only problem encountered, are the washers used for the connections to the thumper and the coil. They aren't quite large enough. We cut down water hose washers, and it makes a tighter seal. Otherwise, it is a very nice system.

Assembly was straight forward parts fit together as advertised worked well during partial runs. Heavy pot holds up the the weight when full. Chiller too small for pot volume so I built a larger one. Thumper input not typical, still functions as intended. Very portable easily stored all items in the pot when packed up, small space storage.

Still haven't used it but I'm sure it will work just fine for my needs it came quickly and packaged better than my ice-cream roll machine because this wasn't beat up like that

Definitely way way more complex..lol I spent a week reading and learning before I even had the nerve to do vodka run to clean it. Thankfully the kit and internet have a lot of good info. After about 3 weeks of playing reading and a bunch of mistakes I got something Out of it I think was good enough to consume tho alcohol content was lower then I thought it should be.. either way alot of fun and exciting to learn..kinda want to get a lab coat and setup in my camper! lol

I have used this to make distilled "Water" a few times and it has worked like it should, getting the water pump and fittings adjusted just right does take some time but once you get it the system works great.
