I was not expecting it to be as loud as it is, but it still does the job. At work we have some high-end ultrasonic cleaners for our equipment, and they are much quieter so that was my expectation. But for a cheap little guy, this is as good as I probably should have expected. I don't know if the video really captures it but there's a pretty high pitched tone, you'll definitely want to have this running in another room...All of that aside, it works great! I added a little dish soap and white vinegar to the water I filled it with, and my brass casings came out shiny clean. I expect it to be even better with the specific brass cleaning solution I have coming. I also threw a couple greasy bolts and nuts in just to test them out (not pictured) and they were completely clean!I need to play with it a little more, after one cycle. I couldn't get the temperature setting to work. It stayed hot, but I couldn't turn it down. I turned the hole machine off and unplugged it, I'll have to see if it works when I try it again. But overall, it does the job that I bought it for, so I'm pretty happy and plan on cleaning everything I can with it.
