I would recommend this plate chiller

Plate chiller works as expected. Only thing I would change is have male threads instead of the current female threads.

It works but threads leak

The exchanger works extremely well but the threads do not have a tight seal. CG I used brass hose fittings on the water sides and stainless 3/4 NPTFNPT quick release fitting on the beer side or hot liquid side. Used pipe thread sealant but still minor leaks on both sides. Considering soldering them all

Great chiller at a great price

This is a great chiller that helps get wort down to pitch temp within 15-20 minutes. It took my immersion chiller 2 hours. That saves time and money! Great value for the money.

Seems well made, no moving parts to fail

This 50 plate chiller works exactly as described. There is an included mounting bracket. Easy to hook up and is generally easy to figure out. Instructions were fine, but could be made slightly clearer as it had instructions for multiple different units combined into 1 for all

Works fast

Used to cool down 2 12 gallon batches of homebrew. Cooled fast! Didn't time it but would say pretty close to a half hour. Only downside is cleaning it but that's rTo be expected

Great heat exchanger for beer brewing.

Works great for chilling wort. Doesn't seem difficult to clean by counter-flowing sanitizer. Two batches in but so far so good. I put stainless cam-lock fittings on it for the beer-side and garden hose fittings for the water which avoids swapping the beer and water sides.

Odd connector size

The biggest thing for me is the connectors. After purchasing the wort chiller I found that the 3/4 inch is an odd size most connectors are 1/2 inch.

Looks good.

Haven’t installed it yet. Still compiling parts for my on board shower. I’ve pressure tested it to 18psi and it held. Looks and feels like good quality.
