When I switched on the machine for the first time, something went wrong and part of it generated a lot of heat and stopped working.I sent the query to the seller and they quickly sent me the replacement.Now I am happy for a sealing machine of very good quality.Recommended seller.

Hears up fast and seals all size pouches for coffee. Worth the money spent.

This item will literally get hot enough to melt its own wires.....be careful. I walked away and came back to it smoking. Turned it down and it seems to work but who knows for how long. Even though the offset for the temp dial is a little off, it still does throttle nicely. Will work for sealing basically anything you need.

But - the heat knob is offset. My first attempt to seal a Mylar bag was a burning success. With trial and error I did find the sweet spot for both Mylar and plastic bags.

I purchased an impact sealer to seal bags of coffee. The sealer was one of the standard ones with the handle that pushes down. It actually worked quite well. The problem, the coffee bags that I ordered were made out of mylar and were a tad on the thicker side. The smaller sealer just couldn't get the job done. I bought this sealer and it WORKS LIKE A CHAMP!!! Airtight/watertight seal every time! And the five rows of seals gives the bag a nice professional looking edge like it got sealed at a big factory or something. I gave it four stars because my ONLY knock against it is that it doesn't come with a case or bag to store it in when not in use. Other than that, this does the job!

Great product works really well for what I needed it for

This is hard...the unit is constructed from what seems to be quality components with the exception of the temperature control. The castings and fasteners are nicely made but :1) the control mob isn’t aligned to the temperature scale in the faceplate (see photos of fully counterclockwise and fully clockwise).2) though I have a non-contact thermometer to “map” out the settings to actual temperatures I can suggest that you don’t bother. The swing of temps at one setting is quite large suggesting poor feedback/control by the thermocouple/control circuit and from end to end on the bar and top bar versus bottom bar variations are quite large.But, this is not to say it doesn’t work to seal bags and when properly executed the seal does look fantastic owing to the sealing bar structure and coating.I bought this for 7 mil aluminized Mylar bags. And, because sealing is a combination of time and temperature I did find a setting of 100C on the dial adequate at a few seconds to provide a robust seal. Normal “food saver” bags were quickly (~1 sec) sealed at a setting of 50C on the dial.However, I suspect that there is a low quality component in this system somewhere. Could be the heaters, the temperature control rheostat or the control circuit. Which is unfortunate as it takes away from the aspects that are of nice quality for this device.Based on the reviews I read this was anticipated. Sadly, the manufacturer could undoubtedly fix the issue for very little additional cost in components and not have to spend so much on Customer Service and replacing items.Also, they could truly stand to redo the manual. I’d gladly clean up the translations for them gratis but they really need to improve the diagram used in parts identification...and indicate where the parts can be ordered from. There is no indication on the box or in the manual who makes the product or how they can be contacted.I will keep mine as I’m willing to deal with its idiosyncrasies. Funky looking but it works fine. The knob for some reason is misaligned with the markings but it works as intended. Once you get it dialed in it's consistent and the crimp/seal is vacuum tight. It handles thick bag material infinitely better than my FoodSaver.

We've used this for a month now. It works great. Good product for the price. Just be careful not to get branded with the long bars.We will be buying another for backup.
