I'm 82 years old. I had my hoist mounted in the rafters of my garage to be able to lift a small generator into the back of my pickup truck. The only challenge I had was a short control cable. I purchased multi-lead stranded cable and extended the control cable. My hoist works great and saves me from calling younger help when I need to load up. Thank you for a simple very workable product.

exactly what i needed at agreat price. used on a lift for the basement.

The winch has all the power I need and it is ready to go when you get it. I would have went with a 5 star if it wasn't for the short control cord. It only like 3 or 4 feet long. I had to hang the winch on a 14 ft gantry. So what I did was cut the cord and add in 8 feet of control cable. Yeh, I know I voided the warranty . I do that a lot. So far I am glad I spent the money to get it.Cheers

Use it in my deer cooler love it

I bought this winch to lift big containers of grain for beer brewing. It doesn't even struggle with the hundred plus pounds I lift with it. I love the auto stop function that keeps the lead just where you need it and the frame on this thing is super strong. I used longer bolts to mount it came with and have not had any issues. If you want an inexpensive powerful winch for your shop, this is it.
