The electric hoist works great. Used to build a ladder lift and has lifted 50 square of shingles with no problems.

I like this unit. I really had my doubts about this unit handling my equipment butt had no trouble at all. Glad that I made this purchase, I had put the purchase off for quite some time.

Lifting and lowering items from a second story Barn. Great equipment and should last a long time.

I bought and installed this in March, so far its working great. Only complaint I have is it came with the wrong bolts to install it. Luckily, Home Depot had the exact bolts I needed. It would've been nice if the power cord was longer, but it wasn't difficult to change. I use it to lift one end or the other of riding mowers and so far its performed better than I expected.

It's very handy for a garage for like mower decks sharpening the blades changing tires on a lawn mower using it to pick it up hanging my hunting game very nice winch for the money

This motor is in the process of being installed in my garage attic to hoist a 6'X10'model train table with legs. While the project is not yet complete, the remote-controlled motor appears to be working well at this time.

Package arrived on-time, and the unit was packed well, and perfectly perfectly intact. I will post a more detailed review after this year after I install the hoist.

For light duty lifting. I used it to build a lift for bringing roofing materials from the ground level to the roof.Two bundles = 160 lbs. Did this without much strain. Would not trust it for really heavy loads.
